At Dad's place...

Dad will be married tomorrow morning. I'm very happy for both him and his bride. The main reason I haven't been keeping up my LJ is that while here, I've way too much going on for me to just sit at the computer.

My dad is getting married!

He's been spending a lot of time with this lady named Mary, and a couple of weeks ago he called to tell me they were planning to marry. It's been 5 years since Mom passed away, and I'm glad he's found someone. He's going to be 81 on the 25th; she's 76 (or thereabouts).

The wedding is being planned for July 14. I plan to be there, of course.

And a bit of sad stuff...

Myself
My uncle died yesterday. He was my mother's sister's husband, and he was about 86 years old and in poor health. The memorial service will be Saturday, and I need to call my aunt for more details. I hope I'll be able to make it.
