Yes, I'm back in my own place, having spent about 10 days at my dad's place. Yorkie traveled fairly well, once he let me know he was HOT on the floor of the car and I changed the settings so the cool air blew over him. I lunched at an Arby's and the girl at the window saw Yorkie and offered some "scraps" for kitty. Apparently I wasn't clear that Yorkie doesn't eat "people food" and she gave me some anyway. Just for kicks I let Yorkie have a small piece. He sniffed it, licked it a few times, then ignored it.
Have I ever mentioned I love that Yorkie won't eat people food? It means he doesn't even beg at the table. (Except for attention. He begs for that rather frequently.)
Now I need to unpack, put a few things where they belong, run to the post office, get a few groceries (perishable types) and basically once again start arranging my new digs.
Then tomorrow I get to start working on my classroom a bit.
